Mental Health, the ideal first investment.
In the fast pacing world we live in, a world that praises hustle and speed, mental health takes a backseat — until it starts to slow us down. “Why do we do that?” Is a question each one of us needs to ask ourselves.
I would like give you my perspective on this, the only thing in our body that actually has us in it, is our conscience, everything else is just a physical representation of us.
Our conscience helps us make choices, helps us feel things, helps us experience magic, it is the place life comes from, and is the most intimate part of ourselves.
And anything thats so closely connected to us, thats so intimate to us, is our most vulnerable part. Our conscience, or might I call it our mental space, is the first celebrate our victory, the first to feel our loses, the first to sense everything happening to us right from when we were kids to this day!
Amusing isnt it?
To think there’s a part of you that is constantly dynamically feeling things for such a long time, without a break.
This is exactly why you need to give yourself a space to let loose, a space to feel one with yourself, a space to open your mental space that has been feeling so much, for so long.
So that it can finally feel free, and you can experience life like you never have.
In the words of William Henley, “You could be the master of your fate, you could be the captain of your soul. But you have to realise that life is coming from you and not at you.”
Lets ensure that the life thats coming from us, is way stronger than whats coming at us.
Lets be wise, just as we brush our teeth to prevent cavities, checking in with your emotions, and seeking help early on helps you become the best version of yourself sooner.
Your mental health is not a “later” project. It’s a “right now” investment. And the earlier you begin, the stronger, more grounded, and more self-aware you’ll be, not just in crisis, but in everyday life.
Start now. Because your mind deserves care, not just when it’s hurting—but always.
